Tomorrow (Tuesday, March 2) is Read Across America Day in honor of the 106th birthday of Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel). Sarah Connolly, Ticket Office Manager for the Portland Sea Dogs, will be the commnity reader in our room. Be sure to ask your child about her visit, especially what she read for us.

  1. Hello, No one at the school knows who I am. I am someone who attended William Cone school when I was 10 years old. My father was stationed at the Naval Base. I pulled up the website for Topsham, Maine and decided to see what has been happening at my old elementary school. I don't recall my 5th grade teacher's name. But if anyone visits the office they will probably see that me and my brother Drake Vaughan were students at Cone in the year 1969. I am 53 years old today and recall the beautiful State of Maine. We also lived in Brunswick and Bath. Have a wonderful week.
